After signing with Universal Music Japan, both KARA and 4Minute will start their promotions in Japan, tomorrow.
On April 28, KARA released their Korean album in Japan, reaching number 7 on the Oricon daily album chart. Tomorrow they will be attending an event with around 8,000 fans and on the next day they will celebrate the launch of their official Japanese fan club.
It is expected for them to release a Japanese album around July or August.
Meanwhile, 4Minute released the Japanese version of Muzik on May 5th which is now ranked at number 22 on the Oricon daily chart. Tomorrow, they will be celebrating the release of Muzik at the Zepp Tokyo Hall in Odaiba.
Back in January, in an interview with Billboard Japan, Universal Music Japan referred to 4Minute as 「a new group with the ability to show successful results in the global market」
Hopefully both girl groups will have successful events tomorrow and will be able to break through the Japanese market in the near future.
