After School's Park Kahi Becomes A Radio DJ

Recently, the sexy leader of After School, Park Kahi has replaced Jung GaEun』s place as a radio DJ after she fainted from overworking.



According to After School's management, Park Kahi is now a radio DJ for SBS program 『Jung GaEun's Sweet Music Box』.
Even though the decision was sudden, Park Kahi's talent is recognized since she has been showing her talking skills in variety shows. Besides that, becoming a radio DJ was also her dream. Therefore, she promised to show her best in this field.
Her management added, 「Rather than her sexy and charismatic image, she will take Jung GaEun's position with a more easy-going, friendly image.」
Hopefully Jung GaEun will get a good rest before resuming her work. Congratulations and good luck Park Kahi!

After School's Kahi shows her support for Son Dambi's comeback

Son Dambi just completed her first round of comeback performances this week and her fellow Pledis Entertainment sisters have supported her throughout.

Earlier today After School's Kahi tweeted,

「I came to cheer on Dambi h h SsonDdang said I didn』t make it for the recording of Queen… Saying that they prerecorded it at 9am… Are you kidding me!! k k Please love our Dambi a lot~~ You really are a queen!! Fighting」

Other After School members also cheered on Son Dambi earlier this week through their respective Twitters and me2days.

What is After School's Lizzy's Hobby?

After School's Raina recently exposed the hobby of their youngest member, Lizzy.

On After School's reality program on MBC Every1, 『Playgirlz School』, Raina revealed, 「Our youngest member, Lizzy』s hobby is dancing in the nude at the dorm.」

Raina surprised everyone by adding, 「Lizzy gains more confidence when she takes her clothes off, and her jokes become more extreme. She often dances to 4minute Hyunah's 『Change』 in the nude.」

A flustered Lizzy snapped back saying, 「It's not just me that does that.」

This episode is scheduled to air on the 13th.

What made Kahi cry?

After School's Nana and JungAh confessed of minor dissatisfaction of leader Kahi. However, upon hearing this, Kahi showed tears.

On the 7th, After School guest starred on the first part of MBC 『Goldfish』, 『Radio Star』.
Nana said, 「If we get the dance wrong, she'll make us do it until we get it right.」 JungAh added, 「At first, she tends to do that.」 At that moment, Kahi began to cry, shocking everyone in the studio.

Kahi then expressed the difficulties with her title as the eldest member by saying, 「I'm the type of person that gets angry up front, but turn around and cry. I cry easily.」

Along with the three After School members, Son Dambi, who is under the same management, also guest starred.

H.O.T's KangTa guest starred on the first part of 『Goldfish』, 『Knee-Drop Guru』, making it his first time on a variety show since he was discharged from the army. He talked about any stories from the creation of his group H.O.T until its end.

The Revolt of After School's Lizzy?

After spreading the happy virus all over Korea with their cute, bubbly appearance, Orange Caramel has now captured the attention of netizens with their comical photos.

On the 1st, Nana posted a photo of herself playing around with their youngest member, Lizzy, on her me2day. She wrote, 「Scary Lizzy.. ^^,」 and added another photo of themselves with cute expressions.

Netizens who saw the photos teased and cheered the members on by commenting, 「Nana and Lizzy seem to be close,」 「There's a chance that Lizzy is the leader. Lizzy, fighting!」

Orange Caramel is currently promoting heir title single 『Magic Girl』. They are also showing off their various charms through the new reality program 『After School's Playgirlz School』.

Raina, 「When I was first told about the concept of Orange Caramel, I was shocked」

After School talks about her initial thoughts on the concept of unique group Orange Caramel.

Raina was recently featured for an interview with T-News, 「At first when I heard about the concept of Orange Caramel, I was shocked. Honestly I was flustered and shocked. I didn't know that we will end up doing such a concept. It was not a style I like.」

She added, 「But still, with practice, I began to get excited and addicted to it. With time, I began to like it and enjoy doing it. It was fun to show others and have them shocked to know that After School can actually do such a concept. We will work hard.」

After School's Kahi recently revealed her chocolate abs.
After being chosen as the model for CJ Fat Down, Kahi showed off her sexy abs.
This CF was first revealed late last month and garnered lots of interest. Netizens who watched the video commented, 「Her abs are truely superior. She may be 31, but her body is in its 20s,」 「Out of the 20 second ad, 10 seconds are of Kahi's abs,」 and, 「She's influencing my need to diet.」
Meanwhile, Kahi has been cast as a member for the upcoming variety show SBS 『Heroes』. The first episode is scheduled to air on the 18th.

After School's 『Play Girlz School』 First Episode Preview!

The eight members of After School will be starring in their own variety show, MBC every1's Play Girlz School, and here is the preview of the first episode!
After School's Play Girlz School will feature the girls' daily lives as students of a fictional school that trains women on how to enjoy life the trendy way, while they live together in a dormitory.
The school ceremony entrance being promoted by the girls on Twitter and Cyworld, was shot at Seoul's Marronier Park, where the girls performed their hits and showed their individual talents.
Play Girlz School first episode will air on July 6th at 12:10 am (KST)

After School's JungAh Feels Sorry For Uee?

After School's JungAh stated that she feels sorry for fellow member Uee.
JungAh appeared as a guest on the second part of MBC 『Goldfish』, 『Radio Star』, on the 30th.
In this episode, when asked, 「Have you ever been jealous of Uee?」 JungAh replied, 「Rather than jealousy, I feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for her because her schedule is so packed.」
Son Dambi, who is under the same management as her, also guest starred. JungAh's fellow members, Kahi and NaNa also guest starred in this episode. On the first part of 『Goldfish』, 『Knee-Drop Guru』, the queen of trot, Jang YoonJung, guest starred. Along with explaining the truth behind rumors, she also expressed her honest feelings about her break up with ex-boyfriend Noh HongChul.

Orange Caramel Spotted at a Fast Food Restaurant

Before they became famous, celebrities had a normal routine just like you and me. Well, the girls of Orange Caramel are no exception.
Stepping out for some snacks, Raina, Lizzy and NaNa were spotted in line at a fast food chain.
Come on, who wouldn't?
Instead of wearing regular clothes, the trio went out with their Orange Caramel outfits – creating laughter amongst viewers. Guess the girls have no time to change their clothes as they went straight to the restaurant right after the end of a music program.
According to the netizen who posted the photo (shown above), 「Everyone focused on them as soon as they stepped inside. It was cute how they stood in line and ordered their food like children. I followed them wanting an autograph, but in the end, I couldn't approach them. I think I will go to that fast food restaurant more often now.」
Pledis Entertainment issued a statement regarding the photo, stating, 「It looks like they had some spare time and went to get some food with their manager.」 They added, 「Orange Caramel is a group that is aiming to spread the happy virus, so we're glad that people are looking at them in a good light,」 expressing their thanks to fans of the younger members of After School.

After School's Lizzy and Nana are very close too each other. They are always playing around together and also they were distributed into the same sub group by Pledis Entertainment.

Five Male Idols Have Confessed Their Love for After School's JooYeon!

On the latest recording of hit show KBS Invincible Youth, After School's JooYeon surprised everyone saying, 「I've received five confessions from male celebrities.」
Unfortunately, because of these sweet revelations, her management confiscated her handphone. Kim TaeWoo then asked her if there were any actors among those five celebs but JooYeon said that all of them were singers.

After School's new school profile pictures

As reported before, After School will be having their own variety show named 'Playgirlz School' soon. The girls have just released the teaser of the show two days ago.

The name of the variety show comes from After School's official fanclub 'Playgirls' and you can see how sweet they used their fanclub's name for this this show, Playgirlz + After School.

Before the show, some pictures of the girls are unveiled so check out the pictures below. They dressed in school uniform thus it makes them look younger and definitely like a schoolgirl. Playgirlz, like it or not?

Orange Caramel, 「We are very thankful for Super Junior's parody photos」

After School unique group Orange Caramel responds to the parody photos that group Super Junior members did on their concept.

The group told MT StarNews in a recent interview, 「We saw the parody photos of 『Peanut Caramel』 on the internet recently. We had a good laugh on it.」

The parody photos released have also garnered great interests amongst netizens. The girls added, 「We are very thankful that our name was used to become a pretty hot issue. We will thank them personally when we get to meet them on broadcast shows.」

They also commented, 「The edied photos looked really real. When you see the photo from afar, you would think it was really our faces. We would like to thank Super Junior seonbaenim. We received much help with our name more known now.」

Meanwhile, Orange Caramel is promoting the title song 『Magic Girl』 off their 1st minialbum.

After School's leader Gahee has just uploaded a selca with After School's sub group Orange Caramel on twitter a while ago. The selca was taken yesterday on Music Core's backstage and you can see their unnie Gahee showed her support for Lizzy, Nana and Raina!

Besides, Orange Caramel will be having their debut stage at Inkigayo later on 3:30PM KST and more sub groups of After School to come sooner.
