Taeyang and Yuri Went On a Blind Date?

Although Big Bang's Taeyang made have never had a girlfriend before, he certainly has gone on a date with a beautiful woman! On the latest episode of SBS 『Strong Heart,』 which will be broadcast to the public on the 20th, the boy who needs a girl confessed to have gone on a blind date with SNSD's Yuri.

Fellow Big Bang member Seungri who also attended the recording initiated the conversation, saying, 「It seems like Taeyang wants a girlfriend. He didn't tell any of [his fellow Big Bang] members and went to SNSD's concert by himself.」 Taeyang then honestly explained what happened: 「While I was making my album, I wasn't able to go out and put my all into working [so I attended the concert instead.] I must have looked really tired as a friend told me, 『[Yuri] has a good personality, and I think it'd be good if you guys [became] friends,』 and set up the blind date.」

Continuing on with the story, Taeyang spoke of the actual date and said, 「When I arrived at the meeting point, SNSD's Yuri was there. We still contact each other and are close friends,」 which surprised many listeners in the studio. He also added that if he 「was actually dating Yuri, [he] would not be able to reveal [their] relationship,」 which must have relieved the hearts of many listening fangirls. 「I hope others just see as good colleagues,」 he added.

The story then took on a more interesting turn, as he expressed his worries of having the maknae of Big Bang discover his relationship with Yuri. 「After seeing Seungri become close with Yuri, [since] they are classmates, I got a bit worried that he would find out about our relationship,」 he confessed.

Yuri, Sooyoung, and SM Entertainment Support Celebrity Rights and Fair Contracts

SM Entertainment revealed today that they have become a leader in protecting celebrity rights.

What exactly does this mean to the entertainment business? According to the people who attended the meeting (which includes Grand National Party committee leader Jo Moonhwan, SME representative Kim Youngmin, and SNSD), their main mission has been to hold a 「proclamation to establish the development of celebrity contracts.」 The people met on July 6 to create such a proclamation, which would hold the purpose of promoting the creation of reasonable contracts between entertainers and management companies, protecting the rights of celebrities, and improving the overall state of the entertainment company. It took quite a bit of discussion before all parties present finally proclaimed that what they had accomplished was satisfying to their standards.

Jo Moonhwan summarized what he thought of the entire meeting, saying, 「Through a lot of interest and hard work, the entertainment industry's contracts are slowly changing and improving. Through this proclamation, I hope more celebrities can find their rights and that management companies and celebrities can build mutual respect [for each other.]」 He also expressed his hopes for further discussions regarding the improvement of future contract terms, which, if improved, will mean many changes to the social and economic states of South Korea as well.

Kim Youngmin, who also aspired to 「do our best to improve the culture industry, which causes Hanryu's expansion, and add national value to it,」 stated that the 「proclamation provides celebrities and their management companies with a win-win situation.」 If both Korea's cultural industry and the security of celebrity rights are secured with such a proclamation, it certainly will be win-win indeed!

SNSD members Sooyoung and Yuri attended the most recent proclamation, which was today, and said, 「SNSD is happy to be able to participate in this exemplary proclamation. We will do our best to spread Korea's pop culture worldwide and have it improve.」

Hopefully, with such beautiful young ladies witnessing the improvement of the state of Korea』s pop culture world, k-pop will both be improved and become more popular.

Kim Heechul Poses With SNSD's Yuri

Super Junior's Kim Heechul recently complimented SNSD Yuri's skin.

On the 3rd, Kim Heechul posted a photo of himself with Yuri on his Twitter.

Kim Heechul gave an odd comparison of Yuri's skin by writing, 「The universe's best chocolate colored beauty. On stage, Yuri shows off her charms like 99.9% cacao, but becomes clean and white like milk chocolate on variety shows.」

Kim Heechul added a witty comment saying, 「I am currently getting a confirmation from this kid (Yuri) for my comment.」

Many netizens commented, 「The best beauty, Yuri~,」 「Both of you are so cute,」 and, 「Heechul with skin like milk, and Yuri with skin like chocolate.」

Sunny, Yuri, and Hyuna Bid Farewell to Invincible Youth

SNSD's Sunny and Yuri as well as 4Minute's Hyuna have officially left Invincible Youth as their last episode on the show was recently aired.
As the girls bid farewell to everyone on the show, they couldn't stop the tears from flowing down their faces. It was a very emotional moment as everybody hugged each other tightly for the last time. I even started getting teary-eyed myself.



Invincible Youth will surely be different with three of its original core members gone, but let's hope that the change will be a positive one.

On latest "Invincible Youth" recording, the G7 members start " Eating watermelon" storm match.

That day, G7 members came to a fruit farm, and they separated to two group to start "Eating watermelon" match. Yuri & Sunny are the type who usually doesn't eat much on their daily meal but at that day they have insist on finished eating the watermelon till peels left. Both of them faces were stained with watermelon seed and made everyone burst into laughter after seeing it.

SNSD Yuri's Mom is Against Romance With Kim Taewoo

Romance between SNSD member Yuri and Kim Taewoo has been opposed by her mom.

On the episode of Invincible Youth, which will be aired on the 28th on KBS2 TV, the romantic relationship between Yuri and Kim Taewoo has become even more intense. However her mom does not approve of it.

This day, everyone was paired up with one other person and had to gather up some vegetables that are grown in the mountains. Kim Taewoo and Yuri volunteered to be a pair and acted like the program's official couple.

Kim Taewoo, who was excited to be on an outing with just the two of them, joked, "You trust oppa, right?" Yuri responded by saying, "My mom told me not to trust you, oppa" and aroused much laughter.

Yuri further stated that her mom said, "Taewoo is really not for you" and made everyone on set laugh by hinting at her mom's strong opposition.

Still, regardless of her mom's opposition, Kim Taewoo said, "I'm going on a walk with Yuri" and sent a video message to her mom, showing a rather warm-hearted side of him.

SNSD Yuri takes first spot as the "female singer who fits well as a baseball pitcher"

Recently, There was a survey conducted at music site site Bucks and the survey was "Which female singer fit's best as a baseball pitcher?" Netizens voted and they have chosen their pitcher.

SNSD Yuri got first place taking 48.5% of the total votes, out of 2588 netizens who voted she received 1256 votes and achieved an overwhelming response and lands her at first place.

In Second place is After Schools UEE, where her father is a coach of a baseball tea which caught a lot of interest from netizens.

In Third place is Victoria of f(x). Brown Eyed Girls Gain took the Fourth place and Davichi's Kang Min Kyung and at Sixth place is solo singer Gummy.

Nowadays the 2010 World Cup has been a big talk in Korea, many idols have released their songs and music videos to show their support, others even created some cheer cards.

T-ara's Hyomin posted a kind message on her Cyworld wishing goodbye to her fellow KBS 2TV "Invincible Youth" cast mates Yuri, Sunny and Hyuna.

Hyomin's farewell message said, 「I had a lot of fun every week both during and after filming. I got really close to girls. This kind of feels like, how do I say this.... like my really close friend is transferring to another university. But to like a really close university? SNSD Yuri's College Life

Girl group So Nyuh Shi Dae's (SNSD) Kwon Yuri looks as if she is having a blast in her college life. But, with a full time schedule as an idol and a college schedule, life cannot be easy for her. She probably needs at least a little bit of help to get her through the day. So, just who does she thank for helping out with her college life?

During a recent episode of SBS's Strong Heart, Yuri revealed that she was, 「enjoying college life.」 She went on to thank another idol star for helping her. But just who is that star? It is none other than Big Bang's maknae, Seungri!

Yuri and Seungri both attend ChungAng University, and according to Yuri, they are also studying in the same department. She went on to expose that, 「SeungRi's energetic personality helped him become close with people easily, and got used to the college environment fairly quickly.」

Tiffany and Yuri will be taking a 3 week break as MC's in Music Core

Current MC's of music program MBC Show! Music core Tiffany and Yuro of SNSD will be taking a break from their MC duties for the upcoming three weeks after the 29th of May.

SM Entertainment said that SNSD has to take a break and will be recharging before they proceed to their oversea's promotions. Tiffany and Yuri will also be taking a break and will not be the MC's in Music Core for Three weeks. This leave's the MC spots empty for 3 weeks.

The temporary replacement's for Yuri and Tiffany has still not been decided. They will be resting as well as the other member's who pulled out from their fixed guesting appearances in variety programs.

Yuri, Sunny and Hyuna said their goodbyes for the last shoot of Invincible Youth

SNSD members Yuri, Sunny and 4minute member Hyuna has said their goodbye's to Invincible Youth and Hyuna sheds tears on the shoot.

Sunny, Yuri and Hyuna had their last shoot for the show last May 19. They have been part of the show since October last year along with Brown Eyed Girls Narsha, KARA's Goo Hara, T-ara's Hyomin and Secret's Sunhwa. They were fixed members of "G7" for 7 months and now they had their final shoot for the show and said their farewells.

After the shooting of the show, Yuri, Sunny and Hyuna cried a lot backstage, they were calm and happy the entire time during the shooting but when it ended they couldn't hold back their tears.

The members had to leave due to their very busy schedule, their separation to the show was sad but it was inevitable. They also had friendships formed with the cast and the staff as well which made the separation a lot harder.

Meanwhile, The show is still holding it's auditions for the new members to replace the three girls. The new members will be revealed by June.

SM Spreads Hope Amongst Invincible Youth Fans

Whilst rumors were laid to rest after official confirmation by the KBS Invincible Youth team that SNSD's Sunny, Yuri and 4minute's HyunA would be leaving the show, SM Entertainment has announced that that is not the case.

A representative of SNSD's company, SM Entertainment, has commented, 「We haven't heard a definite answer from their production staff on Sunny and Yuri's resignation and involvement on Invincible Youth,」 confirming that their exit from the show is currently in limbo.

The staff from Invincible Youth gave similar answers, saying, 「We can't give a definite answer on Sunny and Yuri's involvement, nor can we do that for any other current member of Invincible Youth. It may be our call, but we haven't made a decision as of yet.」

The Invincible Youth staff had mentioned earlier that, 「We're currently trying to add one or two new members to the show in order to give it a new feel from the current format of Invincible Youth. We are trying to change the format, but we're not creating a Season 2. While maintaining the current concept, we'll reorganize the show by adding new members.」

Although both SM and the production crew denied it, there's a very high chance of Sunny, Yuri, and HyunA leaving the show in order to promote their own respective groups throughout Asia.

So Nyeo Shi Dae members Yuri and Sunny together with 4Minute HyunA will be leaving KBS 2TV Invincible Youth.

There has been speculations that Yuri and Sunny will be leaving the show due to busy schedule from their Japanese advance preparations as well as preparing for their upcoming concert. With that Kim HoSang PD of the show confirmed on 14th May, 「SNSD Yuri, Sunny and 4Minute HyunA will have their last filming for the show on 19th May. We are currently doing auditions to recruit new members on the show and we will reveal them in early June.」

The PD also added, 「Even though some of the girlgroup members will leave the show, the male appearances like Noh JooHyun and Kim TaeWoo will not change.」 As for Secret member Han SeonHwa leaving the show, TS Entertainment clarified, 「We have not heard of this news.」

With the month of June fast approaching, rumors have been buzzing around the cyberworld that SNSD's Sunny and Yuri are the ones to leave KBS 2TV Invincible Youth next month. Could it be?

Early this week, Invincible Youth PD Kim HoSang revealed that 1-2 G7 members will leave the program at the end of June. This news triggered the curiosity of the show's avid viewers on which of the 7 girls will be bidding their farewell next month.

SNSD's Sunny and Yuri are on the toplist to be booted off the show – from the viewers' opinions at least. But according to the producer of the show 「nothing has been decided yet.」 However, others who are related to the show are pretty certain that Yuri and Sunny will be leaving next month. Well, that's pretty harsh!

The reason?

Just like what ex-ChinChin radio DJ Taeyeon did last month, it would be SNSD's hectic schedules that may cause a hindrance for Sunny and Yuri to participate in Invincible Youth』s full time episodes.

The reason for such prediction is because SNSD will be very active all over Asia in the next few months for their concert. Ever since their concert in Shanghai on April 17th, SNSD have been planning for future shows in Japan and because of this, each member's activities will be limited.

A recent UFO reply from Sunny has also added to the possibility that the SNSD girls will be leaving the show. Was Sunny telling the fan to come fast because her birthday is fast approaching, or because she won't be around the set for much longer?



The other common suggestion by netizens is that Hara and Hyuna will be the ones to leave Yuchiri due to their respective groups debuting in Japan.
