Gummy to hold first solo concert in July after 4 years after debut!

Yes, Its official. The official promotional poster for Gummy's first solo concert has been released.

Gummy, a solo singer will be having her first solo concert after four years after debut!

YG Entertainment has announced on the 11th, "Gummy after 4 years of debut will have her first solo concert in July 24 and 25".

Gummy debuted in 2006 and recently she has released a new mini album. The concert will stage hit songs from Gummy such as "As a man", "Love is" "Sorry" and "When i get back" and many more.

Gummy recently finished a concert sponsored by music cable mnet last month the "aura" project where she was the main performer for the concert. Concert tickets will be on sale starting 18th of June at 2pm KST through online ticket outlets.

Gummy, Rin and Young Ji parodie's 8eight's "Farewell is coming"

Solo singers Gummy, Rin and Young Ji parodies 8eight's love scene.

On May 20, backstage, Gummy and the rest of the singers had their own version of the break up scene in 8eights music video as well as their performance. They took pictures and released it online.

Even Lee Hyun and Baek Chan were coaching them on how to properly do the poses, the scene was between a love triangle and gummy was in a triangle between Rin and Young Ji. Their parody has caught a lot of interest from netizens.

Looks like the singers are friends and are having a little fun backstage from their schedule. Fans commented on how cute the parody was and very unexpected from these singers.

Meanwhile, 8eight is doing well with "Farewell is coming" while Gummy is also promoting her song "As a man"

Gummy in the last May 22nd and 23rd was the main attraction of a concert sponsored by Mnet and CGV held in Seoul. This coming July, Gummy is scheduled to have her first solo concert. There are a lot of expectations for this and it is promised she will have a full concert by July.

Gummy to hold a concert on May 22 and 23 for the 'AURA project'

CGV and Mnet Media joins hands and will be holding a concert called "The Aura Project" where tickets will be sold at affordable prices and will feature female musicians with Gummy as it's main attraction.

The Concert will be held from May 22 to May 23 at KAIST Seoul YeongDeungpo sponsored by CGV Cinema theaters. It has been 2 years since Gummy has been active and she recently released a new mini album, A lot of fans has been waiting for Gummy and the anticipation has heightened even more.

Gummy will be performing her new songs such as "As a man" and "There is no love" that has been topping various music charts such as Mnet Music Charts and one of the top female vocalits in Kpop.

This concert will guarantee fans and the public awesome performances and pulling of hit performances and will show 100% satisfaction to its audience who will be witnessing the spectacular concert.

AURA and Mnet are the production planning team and they have chosen Gummy because of her abilities and because she hasnt been active for two years and this will be the opportunity for her to communicate with her fans for their strong commitment. The concert will be held in CGV Hall professional theater's (CGV Art Hall) providing high satisfaction for fans.

Gummy's Comeback Stage on Inkigayo !

Gummy is an artist having such beautiful vocals and now she is BACK ! After all the previous performance of other artists , let's enjoy Gummy's comeback stage on Inkigayo !

Gummy takes on music charts and comeback on music core on the 8th!

Singer Gummy has finally made her comeback after 2 years!

Her new mini album has been released on the 30th of April and her title track as well as other tracks from her album are conquering the music charts. Currently, her title track "As a man" is number 1 on mnet, and Dorisak. Her other song "Because of You" is also climbing up and is number 2 on cyworld while "There is no love" is ranked 10th in Melon, "what should i do" is also climbing up on the top 10 on music charts.

That is a total of Four songs from her mini album that are on the top spot's in online music charts. Her comeback has been much awaited and despite a lot of competitions, her album is still well received by fans.

YG Entertainment said that her songs are quite different from the typical mainstream songs in Kpop. "There is no love" and "as a man" are shows gummy's transformation and "because of you" and "What should i do" are more traditional in sound, a ballad and a mix of RnB. They wanted a new look for Gummy and a new style to match her new songs. Her songs are different from the typical popular songs in Kpop.

Meanwhile, After two years of hiatus, She will have her first comeback performance on the 8th of May in MBC Music Core.

Gummy confesses, 「I was the first one to propose for my mother's singer debut」

Singer Gummy revealed, 「I was the first one to propose that my mother debut as a singer.」

Gummy did an interview with tvN ENEWS 『Behind Star』 recently and talked about her mother Jang SookJung's singer debut, 「I think it is a waste if my mother's vocal capabilities are not shown. Being able to help my mother debut as a singer is one of the best thing that happened since I was born.」

She added, 「My mother's vocal capabilities are better than mine. My mother is one of the artistes who gave me the greatest influences to want to be a singer. Now, I think of us as teacher and student as well.」

Gummy said, 「My mother has had it tough all this while. It will be good that she gets to enjoy the things she wants to do.」

Gummy is back with a new album 『Loveless』 after 2 years. The title song to the album 『As A Man』 is currently receiving much love from music fans and it is moving up fast on various music charts.
