IU who has a sweet voice participates for the drama Road No. 1's OST. She sings a song called "Since I'm a woman" (여자라서).

IU Shows Off Her Broken Trophy

IU has been garnering attention after posting a photo of herself holding her broken trophy, looking as if she is about to cry.

On the 7th, IU posted two photos on her mini homepage showing off the trophy she won on KBS 2TV 『Music Bank』.

In the photo, IU looks like she's about to cry with her broken trophy. She wrote, 「Ah, I dropped it. ㅠ.ㅠ.」 The second photo shows her kissing the broken trophy while holding it together. She didn't forget to leave a cute message reading, 「Yahp! Re-attaching it ㅋㅋ.」

Netizens commented, 「Oh no, it's your first trophy too,」 「It's okay, you can win first place again,」 and, 「You look cute even when you look like you're about to cry.」

Meanwhile, IU has been promoting her duet song, 『Nagging』, with 2AM's Im Seulong.

IU Needs A Boy?

Anyway, IU didn't declare anything but she made a cover of Taeyang's 'I Need A Girl'. It seems like this is a response for Taeyang's song. We all know that IU is fond of covering songs and all her covers were really great and absolutely amazing. What made her really cool is that, it feels like it's her own song. She's really an amazing girl at the age of 17! Way to go IU!

IU splashed water on sleeping heechul at Youngstreet?

Recently, on Heechul's radio show Youngstreet, IU was a guest and photo's from her guesting has been gaining a lot of attention among netizens. A photo was uploaded at the youngstreet gallery which showed IU and Heechul fooling around and also IU doing the "Water prank" on Heechul as he sleeps on his chair but the water bottle has it's lid on.

Netizens commented on the picture, "Kim Heechul looks more beautiful", "IU's whiter skin is really pretty", "They are just so cute".

Seulong and IU to Sing 『We Fell in Love 2』

Back in 2009, fans were hooked up to MBC's We Got Married Couple JoKwon and GaIn's duet of 『We Feel in Love』. Since then, the song was a big hit on various music charts and this time, a follow up track called 『We Fell in Love 2』 is currently in the works.

After the news of its production last week, netizens' curiosity strikes again! Speculations then began that it could be new couple YongHwa and SeoHyun to sing the duet this time around but hold on, rumor has it that 2AM balladeer SeulOng and IU will be singing 『We Fell in Love 2.』 So, which is which?

The follow up track, which is temporarily named as 『We Fell in Love 2』 is composed by Lee MinSoo and lyricist Kim ENa. Netizens who were curious about the song have been working all day to get a squeeze of it. Netizens have captured an image to a file registered in a Korean Music Copyright Group online stated that the upcoming track 『We Fell in Love 2』 is going to be called 『Nagging (Jahn So Ri)』 and will be sung by 2AM's SeulOng and IU.

Meanwhile, the production company puts an end to these rumors saying 「You will find out soon about the singers and the song name.」 On the other hand, 『We Fell in Love 2』 will be released this June.

The audio is out so it seems like the rumors are indeed true!

IU only DJ-ing temporarily, new single in May!

Singer IU will only take over as temporary DJ MBC FM4U 『ChinChin』 show after TaeYeon leaves the show.

According to IU's company on 20th April, 「We were shocked to see the news during the live broadcast. She is not doing fixed DJ appearance, she will be taking over after 26th April until they get a fixed DJ on the show. We hope that there will be no misunderstanding.」

The representative added, 「We are thankful for the good opportunity. But as she is still young and is a student, doing fixed DJ jobs is still not the thing for her yet. To add on, she is working on her new single album to be released in May. She will gain more experience and show better features next time.」

Meanwhile, we will have to wait to see who will take over TaeYeon's position on the show permanently.

Luna Visits Close Friend IU on Chin Chin!

It's been revealed in the past that F(x)'s Luna actually shares a very close relationship with young singer IU. I guess you can say they're "best friends". Talk about some Chinhan Chingoo radio talk right there, eh?

TaeYeon leaves "Chin Chin", Yoon DooJoon-IU are temporary DJs, official follow-up DJ not chosen yet!

Girls Generation member TaeYeon will be leaving MBC Radio FM4U 91.9Mhz 『Chin Chin Radio』. With no follow up DJs chosen, BEAST's Yoon DooJoon and the singer IU has been chosen as the temporary DJs. 

The producers stated, 「We haven't not chosen an official follow up DJ,」 and added, 「Starting the 26th, for about 2 weeks, BEAST's Yoon DooJoon and IU will be taking the MC role for temporary.」

In addition, they stated, 「BEAST's Yoon DooJoon has the talent and the smooth charisma, and IU has the cuteness and the speedy responses.」 

Meanwhile, Girls Generation member, TaeYeon, will be leaving the broadcast on the 25th. On the 19th, when the news that she will be leaving the show was first released, she spilled tears and showed sadness. The reason that TaeYeon will be leaving the show is because she has to do her activities as Girls Generation overseas, and also for the focus of her new musical, 「Song of the Sun.」

It is confirmed that BEAST member DooJoon and IU will be the new intern DJ's at MBC Radio Chin Chin

They will be the DJ's on the show from 8:00 to 10:00 pm everyday and they will take over SNSD's Taeyeons spot who had to leave because of her overseas activities, preparation for her musical and increase in activities.

Producers of the show said, "DJ's of the show and successor of Taeyeon has not yet been finalized" "BEAST dongjun will start on the 26th of April and will be the temporary DJ's of the show."

They chose Dongjun because of his smooth, charismatic and witty way of talking and his funny jokes.
