Teary Hyomin Says 『Thank You』 to Sunny

Back in the days when KBS Invincible Youth first aired on October 23rd last year, T-ara's Hyomin was still a rookie in the showbiz world; she was always edited out during takes and became well-known for her nickname as the 『Folding Screen』 or 『Edited Girl.』 Her nickname was then changed into 『Subyeong』 (Sunny's folding screen) by sticking to SNSD's Sunny for more airtime and by this, Sunny and Hyomin became almost inseparable.

Last Wednesday – June 16th, the members of the popular variety show Invincible Youth held a press conference at Yuchiri. The mere thought of Sunny brought Hyomin to tears as she talked about their experiences on the show. When Hyomin was asked for her opinion about Sunny's departure, Hyomin boldly stated that she 「thinks it's time to use what Sunny has taught me before.」

Hyomin has told the press that she will teach the ways of the business to the show's newcomer, After School's Jooyeon – who was also present in the conference, alongside new members' Victoria and Sori. 「Jooyeon is similar to me. I actually said that I will teach her about the entertainment world, but it's too much burden to me. Now I know how Sunny felt about me.」

Hyomin continued, 「While filming, I called Sunny and told her things. I asked her, 『What should I do now?』 – she answered me without hesitation: 『Do it! Do well even without me』 and she even texted me.」

Comedian Kim ShinYoung also revealed that Sunny once told her that 「Hyomin is actually an introvert. She'll treat you differently if you're kind to her.」 Causing laughter on the set, a crying Hyomin jokingly replied that Sunny is 「not even my boyfriend…」 wherein Narsha was curious and asked, 「Both of them are not dating, or are they?」

Lastly, Hyomin expressed her gratefulness to Sunny by saying: 「I'm crying because I'm really thankful to Sunny. Now I will try to adapt and do well by myself.」 Awww, we hope nothing but good for her and the rest of the G7 members.

On the other hand, the first episode of Invincible Youth with its new members airs today at 11:05pm KST.

At 'Invincible Youth' press conference on June 16th, Hyomin responded when the reporter asked her opinion about Sunny quitting the show. "I think it's the time to use what Sunny has taught me before." She professionally told her ambition. In the early 'Invincible Youth', her nickname was 'Edited Girl' or 'Folding Screen Girl'. But after she learned about entertainment through Sunny, she become 'Sun-byeong (Sunny's folding screen)'.

Hyomin told us, "One of the new member called Jooyeon (AS) is similar to me. I actually declared that I will teach Jooyeon about entertainment world, but it's too much burden to me. Now I know how Sunny felt about me." She also added, "While filming, I called Sunny and told her things. I asked her, 'What should I do now?' she would answer me without hesitation 'Do it! Do well even without me' she even texted me."

She was full with emotion while talking about Sunny, and she finally cried. Kim Shinyoung said, "Actually there's a story that I haven't told Hyomin. Sunny told me, 'Hyomin is actually introvert. She'll treat you differently if you're kind to her.'" Suddenly Hyomin cried a lot. Hyomin told us while crying, "Sunny is not even my boyfriend..." then she laughed. Narsha who was sitting beside her said, "Both of them is not dating, or are they?"

She told us while wiping her tears, "I'm crying because I'm really thankful of Sunny. Now I will try to adapt and do well by myself." That day while filming, she received applause from reporters and staffs for being exceptionally funny.

Meanwhile, 'Invincible Youth' changed their member from SNSD Yuri&Sunny + 4minute Hyuna into AS's Jooyeon, f(x)'s Victoria, and Sori. G7 members agreed and said, "Because it's still the beginning, we couldn't match each other yet. We will work harder to show our various charms." The 1st episode with new members will air in June 18th, 11.05 PM KST.

Sunny, Yuri, and Hyuna Bid Farewell to Invincible Youth

SNSD's Sunny and Yuri as well as 4Minute's Hyuna have officially left Invincible Youth as their last episode on the show was recently aired.
As the girls bid farewell to everyone on the show, they couldn't stop the tears from flowing down their faces. It was a very emotional moment as everybody hugged each other tightly for the last time. I even started getting teary-eyed myself.



Invincible Youth will surely be different with three of its original core members gone, but let's hope that the change will be a positive one.

On latest "Invincible Youth" recording, the G7 members start " Eating watermelon" storm match.

That day, G7 members came to a fruit farm, and they separated to two group to start "Eating watermelon" match. Yuri & Sunny are the type who usually doesn't eat much on their daily meal but at that day they have insist on finished eating the watermelon till peels left. Both of them faces were stained with watermelon seed and made everyone burst into laughter after seeing it.

Nowadays the 2010 World Cup has been a big talk in Korea, many idols have released their songs and music videos to show their support, others even created some cheer cards.

T-ara's Hyomin posted a kind message on her Cyworld wishing goodbye to her fellow KBS 2TV "Invincible Youth" cast mates Yuri, Sunny and Hyuna.

Hyomin's farewell message said, 「I had a lot of fun every week both during and after filming. I got really close to girls. This kind of feels like, how do I say this.... like my really close friend is transferring to another university. But to like a really close university? For sure we can call and meet up often, but I』m still sad. Although this is a sad farewell, let us all smile and leave this as a good memory! Invincible Youth never loses! Invincible Youth fighting! The current members of Invincible Youth consit of Brown Eyed Girls' Narsha (29), Secret Han Sunhwa (20), KARA Goo Hara (19) T-ara's Hyomin (19) and the newly announced f(x) Victoria (23).

SNSD members Yuri, Sunny and 4minute member Hyuna has said their goodbye's to Invincible Youth and Hyuna sheds tears on the shoot.

Sunny, Yuri and Hyuna had their last shoot for the show last May 19. They have been part of the show since October last year along with Brown Eyed Girls Narsha, KARA's Goo Hara, T-ara's Hyomin and Secret's Sunhwa. They were fixed members of "G7" for 7 months and now they had their final shoot for the show and said their farewells.

After the shooting of the show, Yuri, Sunny and Hyuna cried a lot backstage, they were calm and happy the entire time during the shooting but when it ended they couldn't hold back their tears.

The members had to leave due to their very busy schedule, their separation to the show was sad but it was inevitable. They also had friendships formed with the cast and the staff as well which made the separation a lot harder.

Meanwhile, The show is still holding it's auditions for the new members to replace the three girls. The new members will be revealed by June.

On the morning of the 17th of May, this picture surfaced online with a message that went along with it that said: "Sunny, yesterday (May 16) was your birthday, You know what? I will save the damsel in distress for her birthday!" which showed the close relationship they shared.

She also added, "I'm sorry im a little late, Happy Birthday! I hope you had a blessed day". Also netizesn commented on how beautiful they look together.

Sunny of SNSD Received a Happy Birthday From 60,000 Audience Members

On the 15th, Sunny of the nine-membered girl group SNSD received a congratulatory message for her birthday.

SNSD were guests of the "Kim Janghoon Psy Concert," which was held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on the 15th at 7:00 PM. They sang Tell Me Your Wish with Kim Janghoon during the last part of the show.

After their performance, SNSD members revealed that "today is Sunny's birthday" and asked the 60,000 audience members to wish her a happy birthday. So the audience sang the happy birthday song to Sunny in one loud voice, and SNSD thanked them by performing their hit song, Gee.

Only eight members of SNSD were present because Taeyeon was busy with her musical, "Midnight Sun."

On the 15th, Hyomin wrote:

Sunkyu-ya (Sunny's real name, Lee Sunkyu), happy birthday! Sunny, Sunny, you're my forever sun!

On the 15th, Hyomin left a message on her Cyworld to leave a sincere greeting to one of her best friends, Sunny of SNSD on her birthday. The two girls' friendship grew deep as they participated in KBS2TV's real variety show Invincible Youth.

Hyomin's sincere message as a friend has gained lots of attention.

On the most recent episode of KBS 2TV's Invincible Youth, the members of G7 were hard at work thinking of ways to make a sign, as a way to decorate for the Spring.

Kim TaeWoo and Sunny were paired to do the shoveling. When he saw that Sunny was skilled at shoveling, Kim TaeWoo complimented her, and commented,「You could apply to the army.」

Sunny, however, replied that she probably wouldn't be able to, because her actual height is 155 cm, about 5′1. But since most portal sites display her height as being 157-158 cm tall, she realized her mistake and added,「 I shrunk 2 cm.」

Meanwhile, the G7 members (Narsha, Yuri, Sunny, HyoMin, Han SunHwa, Goo Hara, HyunAh) along with Noh JooHyun, Kim ShinYoung, and Kim TaeWoo, were also working hard to welcome in the new spring season by working on the fields and training the cattle.

SM Spreads Hope Amongst Invincible Youth Fans

Whilst rumors were laid to rest after official confirmation by the KBS Invincible Youth team that SNSD's Sunny, Yuri and 4minute's HyunA would be leaving the show, SM Entertainment has announced that that is not the case.

A representative of SNSD's company, SM Entertainment, has commented, 「We haven't heard a definite answer from their production staff on Sunny and Yuri's resignation and involvement on Invincible Youth,」 confirming that their exit from the show is currently in limbo.

The staff from Invincible Youth gave similar answers, saying, 「We can't give a definite answer on Sunny and Yuri's involvement, nor can we do that for any other current member of Invincible Youth. It may be our call, but we haven't made a decision as of yet.」

The Invincible Youth staff had mentioned earlier that, 「We're currently trying to add one or two new members to the show in order to give it a new feel from the current format of Invincible Youth. We are trying to change the format, but we're not creating a Season 2. While maintaining the current concept, we'll reorganize the show by adding new members.」

Although both SM and the production crew denied it, there's a very high chance of Sunny, Yuri, and HyunA leaving the show in order to promote their own respective groups throughout Asia.

So Nyeo Shi Dae members Yuri and Sunny together with 4Minute HyunA will be leaving KBS 2TV Invincible Youth.

There has been speculations that Yuri and Sunny will be leaving the show due to busy schedule from their Japanese advance preparations as well as preparing for their upcoming concert. With that Kim HoSang PD of the show confirmed on 14th May, 「SNSD Yuri, Sunny and 4Minute HyunA will have their last filming for the show on 19th May. We are currently doing auditions to recruit new members on the show and we will reveal them in early June.」

The PD also added, 「Even though some of the girlgroup members will leave the show, the male appearances like Noh JooHyun and Kim TaeWoo will not change.」 As for Secret member Han SeonHwa leaving the show, TS Entertainment clarified, 「We have not heard of this news.」

With the month of June fast approaching, rumors have been buzzing around the cyberworld that SNSD's Sunny and Yuri are the ones to leave KBS 2TV Invincible Youth next month. Could it be?

Early this week, Invincible Youth PD Kim HoSang revealed that 1-2 G7 members will leave the program at the end of June. This news triggered the curiosity of the show's avid viewers on which of the 7 girls will be bidding their farewell next month.

SNSD's Sunny and Yuri are on the toplist to be booted off the show – from the viewers' opinions at least. But according to the producer of the show 「nothing has been decided yet.」 However, others who are related to the show are pretty certain that Yuri and Sunny will be leaving next month. Well, that's pretty harsh!

The reason?

Just like what ex-ChinChin radio DJ Taeyeon did last month, it would be SNSD's hectic schedules that may cause a hindrance for Sunny and Yuri to participate in Invincible Youth』s full time episodes.

The reason for such prediction is because SNSD will be very active all over Asia in the next few months for their concert. Ever since their concert in Shanghai on April 17th, SNSD have been planning for future shows in Japan and because of this, each member's activities will be limited.

A recent UFO reply from Sunny has also added to the possibility that the SNSD girls will be leaving the show. Was Sunny telling the fan to come fast because her birthday is fast approaching, or because she won't be around the set for much longer?



The other common suggestion by netizens is that Hara and Hyuna will be the ones to leave Yuchiri due to their respective groups debuting in Japan.

SNSD Sunny wants to experience life as a college student

On May 7 on KBS 2TV "Yoo Heeyeol's Sketchbook", SNSD were the guests for the show and performed their hit songs and also had an interview.

Sunny revealed that, "I want to live the life of a college student". She confessed that despite being a singer, she wants to experience being a female college student. Because of being an idol at the same time, idol's do not get a lot of privacy when they are outside in public.

Then Sunny was asked, "If you were born again, what would you be doing?" Sunny hesitated a little and answered, "In College" which attracted a lot of attention in her answer. Sunny brightened up the atmosphere saying that it would be nice if she was able to experience a normal college life.
