Dambi wants a Bad Guy

『Sexy queen』 Son DamBi reveals that she wishes to date bad guys.

She had revealed the type of guys she wishes to date during her guest appearances on KBS late night variety show 『Night Star』 to be aired on 18th July at 11.15pm.

She said, 「The guys whom I have been dating so far have been kind guys. Recently I felt the charms of bad guys, and I wish to try date one.」

Meanwhile, Onew revealed that when he think of Son DamBi he think of 『shoulders』, because she have wide shoulders. Son DamBi also revealed that did swimming and tennis when she was young. Other keywords related to her include 『sexy』, 『pretty』 and 『chair』 etc.

Also on the show, MC Shin DongYeop asked, 「Do you like drinking?」. Son DamBi answered, 「It is not that I don't drink. I like drinking makgeolri amongst the alocholic drinks.」

Son Dambi Releases Version 2 of 『Queen』 MV

Soon after the release of her third mini-album, singer Son Dambi found herself faced with an artist』s worst nightmare – accusations of plagiarism, which were said to be evident in her music video for 『Queen.』 To patch up the matter, Pledis Entertainment decided to unleash a second version of the MV, and so here it is, in all its glory!



So what's so different about this new music video? Pledis Entertainment attempted to calm down those who found themselves outraged at what they saw in the first version by removing the scenes which were said to have been plagiarized.
Hopefully, the issue has been fixed so that listeners may enjoy both the music and Son Dambi's glistening beauty in this new video.

After School's Kahi shows her support for Son Dambi's comeback

Son Dambi just completed her first round of comeback performances this week and her fellow Pledis Entertainment sisters have supported her throughout.

Earlier today After School's Kahi tweeted,

「I came to cheer on Dambi h h SsonDdang said I didn』t make it for the recording of Queen… Saying that they prerecorded it at 9am… Are you kidding me!! k k Please love our Dambi a lot~~ You really are a queen!! Fighting」

Other After School members also cheered on Son Dambi earlier this week through their respective Twitters and me2days.

As scheduled, Son Dambi's latest music video entitled "Queen" has just been released today. This release -together with that of her new album - finally comes after months of delay.


So much hype was built up about this huge comeback - on her official website, other websites and online forums - but was the all the excitement and anticipation worth it?

Park Kahi Wrote Son Dambi's Title Song

After announcing that Son Dambi would be releasing her new mini album on the 8th, it has been garnering lots more attention once it was revealed that After School's Kahi wrote the title song.
Their management stated, 「Kahi wrote 『Beat Up By A Girl』 from Son Dambi's new album. She showed off her capabilities as a songwriter with the emotional lyrics that were written.」

The two have held their friendship since their days in the group S-Blush. Kahi has been working her way up as a songwriter by writing After School's 『When I Fall』 and 『With You』. She also wrote the rap portion of rookie singer Suki』s 『One Love』.

Son Dambi's 「the queen」 Title Track and Teaser to be Revealed on July 6th

After unveiling the song Can't U See, PLEDIS Entertainment is ready to release the title track of Son Dambi's new mini album, the queen, together with a teaser video.

PLEDIS announced on the 5th that the tittle track, queen, and a teaser video will be revealed on the 6th at Son Dambí's official website while the mini album would be released both offline and on the web on July 8th.

On July 2nd, the song Can't U See was unveiled, topping several online charts.

Son Dambi Unleashes a MV Teaser

Son DamBi's latest single 『Can't You See』 is finally out!
According to the plan, her third mini album will be released on July 8th. Different form her previous songs, this time Son Dambi featured a mature side of her by presenting a ballad song.
It is not easy to like a song from the first hearing, but I must admit that this single grabbed my attention once I played it. Now, it keeps playing on and on.

Son DamBi to Comeback in July

Singer Son DamBi has pushed back the release of her newest single due to Korea's advancement to the top 16 in the World Cup.
A spokesperson stated, 「Son DamBi's new ballad 『Can You See』 was scheduled to be release on the 23rd. However, it was pushed back after Korea's advancement in the top 16 was confirmed through the game against Nigeria on the 22nd.」

The new release date has been decided to be the 30th. Son DamBi is also striving to make her official comeback in the second week of July. Her new title track is a dance song.
Many other singers who were planning on a June comeback also extended it to July due to the World Cup.

Son DamBi for drama acting after album to be released coming summer!

Singer Son DamBi is currently preparing for a drama this coming second half of the year after her album to be released in summer.

Her agency revealed, 「Son DamBi has been busy preparing for her comeback. To show everyone satisfactory work, she is putting in much more effort. And there are plans for her to take part in the drama filming the second half of the year. We are still looking at the drama sypnosis, we are still deciding whether it should be a romantic comedy, ancient based, or action genre drama.」

Son DamBi had her first drama attempt in SBS 『Dream』 last year, and was complimented for delivering acting skills better than expected. Meanwhile, her album which was originally set for release early May was pushed back to summer as After School is currently promoting the song 『Bang!』.

Her album will be released after the World Cup in June. This will be her comeback 1 year after her 1st full length album last March.
